ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSAL TO LEASE PARKING SPACE
Proposals will be received by
Morehead State University
for the lease of parking space, 75 spaces or greater, effective January 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2020, with option and terms to extend the lease as mutually agreed upon by both parties unless written notice is given 30 days prior to the expiration of the term or any extension. Proposal responses which include property that is ready for parking or where the Lessor will consider terms that would allow MSU to invest in adjustments in the lot necessary to create parking will be considered provided the Lessor is willing to grant MSU the ability to recover a pro-rated portion of their investment to prepare the property if the Lessor terminates the lease prior to the initial three year period. Property should be within city limits, preferably close to the MSU campus.
Responses may be made by any person in writing on or before 3 p.m., December 9, 2016. Responses must include the following information:
• Street address of the land • Size of the land, and if currently developed for parking, the number of spaces available. If not currently developed for parking, indicate the size of lot. • Cost of the land lease on a monthly basis and the date that the land is available for leasing.
Forward the above information in a sealed envelope to: Morehead State University, Office of Procurement Services, 160 Old Cranston Road, Morehead, KY 40351. (Fax responses will not be accepted). “RFP-190-17; Lease - Parking Space” should be clearly marked on the outside of each envelope (proposal) submitted.
NOTE: Sealed response must be received by 3:00 PM (prevailing Eastern Time) in order to be considered valid. Proposals shall not be opened or read publicly. Proposals mailed or submitted by a commercial parcel delivery service must be received by the closing date and time. Proposals received after that date and time cannot be considered.
